Guitar Tech is a guitar repair and service centre located in Bundall on Australia's Gold Coast. We specialise in setups, repairs, and modifications of all brands of guitars and basses.

For more than 20 years we have been providing guitar players with high quality guitar repairs. We pride ourselves on our personalised and reliable customer service.

Guitar Tech is operated by Hancock Guitars, one of Australia's leading makers of custom guitars. We bring our experience building acoustic and electric guitars to every setup and repair we do.

Our Guarantee

With over 70 years combined experience performing quality guitar repairs and servicing all work is performed to the highest standards and we guarantee every job we do. In addition all instruments are fully insured while in our possession.  

Our Workshop

Our fully equipped workshop has been designed to cater brands and styles of acoustic and electric guitars and basses. Our luthiers and technicians can perform a full range of services on site, from basic restrings and setups through to electronic repairs, refinishing and full restorations.  

Fast Turnaround

We have a large stock of spare parts and upgrades on hand, this allows for fast turnaround times when a part needs to be replaced.
